Fliiip Book
A simple gif animation app for the webDuring one of my quarterly waves of grief over the practical loss of Flash on the World Wide Web, I thought, "I wonder if I could create a modern version of Flash?". That's not exactly what happened, but Fliiip Book is a lot of fun to use. Fliiip Book launched at #19 for the day over on Product Hunt. Very exciting.
Just The Article, Please
A simple article reader for the webOne day, while visiting yet another crufted-up media site, I had had enough. Enough. There needed to be a way to read an article without all the ads and slidey-drawers. Just the article, please. Sure sure, there's reader mode and all that, but with this site, you can share just the article. Add "jtap.cc/" right before the article url and viola! Just the article. This little side project launched at #14 over on Product Hunt. That was fun.
Drawww Time
A simple drawing app for the webWhat started as an experiment to make an online generative art tool akin to something Joshua Davis would use, I ended up with a vector drawing app that I thoroughly enjoy.

I design and build elegant solutions for super-complex data, workflows, and human problems.

Whether it's for the world's most powerful financial institutions, the fine art auction world, or even super-regulated HIPPA data for a third of the US population.

I love to work with Engineering, Product, Business Leaders, and Design Teams to take products from concept to launch and beyond.

On the side, I compose music and write songs, make art objects both digital and physical, and create video— for fun.

I live in the Bay Area with my wife, Melissa Carmon, where we are building a future we believe in.
